Climbing Rich Mountain on the Triumph Tiger 900 and Honda NX500, riding one of the highest stretches in the Ouachita Mountains just outside Mena, Arkansas. The road cuts along the ridge toward Queen Wilhelmina State Park, with clear skies, perfect temps, and endless views of sandstone and pine. It’s the kind of ride that reminds you why elevation changes everything — smooth pavement, wide horizons, and nothing but open air on the climb to the top of Arkansas.

Arkansas State Highway 88 and Oklahoma State Highway 1, collectively known as the Talimena Scenic Drive, traverse the entire top of Rich Mountain and provide excellent vistas of the surrounding Ouachita Mountains.
